Gemma qualified as a solicitor in 2020 whilst working for Stephensons Solicitors. She graduated from the University of Salford in 2015 with first class honours in her Law LLB undergraduate degree and went on to study the LPC and a Masters in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law, Manchester, where she obtained a distinction.

Gemma has had a keen interest in employment law since university and worked in the discrimination department at Stephensons for a number of years before qualifying into the employment department.

Gemma acts on behalf of organisations and individuals on a broad range of matters including employment tribunal litigation, drafting and reviewing contracts, settlement agreements, and drafting policies. She also advises clients on general employee relation issues, such as grievance and disciplinary processes, where she is able to provide practical advice and solutions.

Gemma is a member of the Employment Law Association and enjoys yoga, walking her dog, and travelling outside of work.
