At least a dozen skyscrapers, more than 10,000 apartments, arts venues, hotels and new parks are all planned in city centre building boom
The Housing Crisis debate may be centred on London, but Manchester’s professional sector is taking off and now the city centre is calling out for residential accommodation… the developers are answering! Although most of the development remains within the bounds of the major roads, the developments in Ancoats and the previously impassable line into Salford are solid signs that the city centre is starting to spread as space comes at higher and higher premiums.I am the first to admit that I am a Manc-a-phile. The money being pumped into the development of the city centre is really quite staggering at the moment! Surely, Manchester is the place to be!
